Although they had already been married for ten years, this lovely couple chose to renew their vows in Paris, just the two of them, surrounded by a few close guests and the golden light of the city at sunset.
They contacted me a few months before their elopement to book a photographer in Paris to capture their intimate vow renewal. Everything was already carefully planned: the locations, the outfits, and the timing — and I was honored to be part of their unforgettable day.
First, iconic couple pictures
We began with a sunrise couple photoshoot at Trocadéro, facing the Eiffel Tower — my all-time favorite spot for romantic elopement photos in Paris. Even in the crisp December air, Dominique and Chris braved the cold with joy and tenderness, their love warming every frame.
We continued their Paris elopement session with a stop at Avenue de Camoëns, a hidden gem with one of the best Eiffel Tower views in the city. Then we walked to the Bir-Hakeim Bridge for those cinematic photos over the river Seine and the Iron Lady in the background.
Their connection was so natural that guiding them was effortless — they simply radiated love.
Then, the vow-renewal ceremony
After the couple session, we headed to the stunning rooftop of Hotel Marignan Champs-Elysées, one of the best elopement venues in Paris with a private view of the Eiffel Tower. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect — the sun was setting, the sky was glowing, and they exchanged heartfelt vows surrounded by smiles, happy tears, and golden light.
It was honestly one of the most beautiful Paris elopement ceremonies I’ve ever witnessed.
To end the day, we took some candid group photos on the rooftop, then hopped in a cab for one last iconic shot in front of the Arc de Triomphe, under the city lights. Flash photography, laughter, and love — the perfect ending to a perfect day.
