When Logan contacted me saying he wanted to do a proposal in Paris at sunrise, to his long-time girlfriend, I was immediately thrilled! Surprise proposals are my favorite types of proposals because I get to photograph the genuine reaction of the surprised partner, often times coming with the whole package: tears, laughter, hugs and kisses!
I woke up very early and headed to Trocadéro, one of the most mystic spots in Paris for proposals, with a BEAUTIFUL early morning light. I do think it’s the best place in Paris to watch the sunrise! So when Logan said he wanted to propose there, with the Eiffel Tower in the background, I knew it was a good call.
The light did not disappoint! When I arrived, it was already glowing. I spotted Logan and Ellie headed towards our agreed spot, I followed them like a spy (I swear I try not to look too creepy!) and waited for the moment Logan got down on one knee.
To be honest, I almost teared-up when it happened as the surprise for Ellie was so big- it was instant tears and emotions! I was also really impressed by the couple’s sense of style, they were completely matching together with a vintage vibe that I really adored and thought would look perfect for the photos. Eventually, we ended up in the Paris metro for a last iconic shot: a view of the Eiffel Tower from the famous Line 6 metro.
I was so glad to be a part of this beautiful moment in Paris! ✨
